Hi
I'm creating a document with two images per page. I'd like the images to be as large as possible so the numbering of the images would be in the header. Example: images 1&2 on page one should have a header "1 - 2" page two with images 3&4 with header "3 - 4" etc. I've tried using the seq auto number but it says it can only be used in the main body. Have any idea how this can be done? |

I would add a caption to each picture, perhaps formatted to be 1 point and white. Then use the StyleRef Field to pull the information into your Header.
You may also be able to format your pictures to be in front of text, hiding the captions. I have not tried this latter idea and do not know. References that may help: Insert a Caption - Complex Documents Header/Footer Settings Recap Numbering in Microsoft Word |
