Word change format after emailed?

Hi there,



I have a Yahoo email where I get MSWord attachments that I use for work. When I download and open up the documents, the information is off format and has blank pages in between or it has only a quarter of it written at the beginning and then blank until the next page. It also prints off format as well. My boss says that I am the only one having that problem and we both are using the same Office version (2016) I really appreciate any help!
