Default

By default, Word inserts textboxes in such a way that they don't move as you play with the body text around them. You cannot prevent them from being moved and have them accessible, however.

Thanks for replying.
Sometimes when I add an image into the page it shift the text book along before I have chance to format it to "in front of text" is there a way to do this before the image hits the page?
