Hello. With Word 2016 I find that if I search for a word, then try to use [Ctrl-PgDn], it continues to search for the word instead of getting me to the top of the next page. Is there a way to turn off the search so that [Ctrl-PgDn] gets me to the top of the next page? (In Word 2013, You used to be able to disconnect the Search from the [Ctrl-PgDn] function.] Thanks for any wisdom.... |

Unfortunately, and for no known reason, Microsoft chose to remove the browse control beginning with Word 2013.
Try using Ctrl+G GoTo. This gives you the old Find dialog box set to the Go To tab. Go to a page (any page including the one that you are on). This resets the browse object to page. Now Ctrl PgDn and CtrlPgUp will respond by page. |
