My installed version of Word 2016 suddenly began to crawl when typing and editing after a windows 10 update. Sometimes I have to wait more than thirty seconds for the cursor to backspace through a six letter word, it's that bad. Sometimes the app window freezes up for a minute or more. This wasn't the case when this version of Word was first installed. The system was already running Win 10 with 16gigs of memory. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening or what I could do to get my speed back on?

I have already setup Word to run in windows 8 compatibility mode, but it's not making a big difference.
