Right margin won't set correctly

On NEW DOCUMENT, when my typing on page one, I get to around 6 on ruler on right side of page, the next typing line automatically goes to Page 2. I have been using program for years, and this has never happened. What setting got changed without my knowing?

Look into your paragraph formatting for the style you are using. On the second tab of the dialog box for that formatting are any boxes checked, especially "keep with next" or "keep lines together?"
