Default

Well, I'm using Office 2010 (like you) and the default save format is .docx. In this case, therefore, 'compatibility mode' means Word 2007 compatibility. When using 'compatibility mode', docx files and files saved in the older .doc format both retain the 'Word Perfect 6.x' justification.
