Default Untitled 2007 Word Documnet


I've been working with 2007 Word document for sometime now. Since a week ago when I attach a document to an email the document filename shows up as UNTITLED when I download it. I've talked to Microsoft and my email provider and they had no solutions on why this was happening. Thanks.

How are you attaching the document, specifically? If you save the document to the hard drive first, then open an e-mail and browse for the file that you want to attach, you should definitely see a filename.

I do exactly what you mentioned. Create Word Doc save to hard drive open email and attach the document. When I look at before sending it shows UNTITLED and the recipient sees it as UNTITLED.

Which e-mail provider are you using? If you test with Gmail and Hotmail, do you see the same behavior there?
