I've been working with 2007 Word document for sometime now. Since a week ago when I attach a document to an email the document filename shows up as UNTITLED when I download it. I've talked to Microsoft and my email provider and they had no solutions on why this was happening. Thanks. |

How are you attaching the document, specifically? If you save the document to the hard drive first, then open an e-mail and browse for the file that you want to attach, you should definitely see a filename.

I do exactly what you mentioned. Create Word Doc save to hard drive open email and attach the document. When I look at before sending it shows UNTITLED and the recipient sees it as UNTITLED.

Which e-mail provider are you using? If you test with Gmail and Hotmail, do you see the same behavior there?
