Personal Template Preview not working on all templates.
Hi,
I'm running Word 2016 and when I attempt to create a new document from a personal template by selecting File - New - Personal the templates are shown as large icons. Three of these give a preview of what the actual template looks like if you open them, but the others don't. They just show a white square with generic lines on them and all look the same. If I select any of them, they open fine as templates. What I am trying to do is to make all the Personal template icons show the template contents. I tried opening the templates as a template file and saved again as a template with the "Save Thumbnail" checked. This worked only for one template but not others. I suspect the problem is to do with how the templates were created but I'm not sure. If anyone can help me with this, you will have my eternal gratitude. Thanks RB |
