Hi,
I'm running Word 2016 and when I attempt to create a new document from a personal template by selecting File - New - Personal the templates are shown as large icons.

Three of these give a preview of what the actual template looks like if you open them, but the others don't. They just show a white square with generic lines on them and all look the same.

If I select any of them, they open fine as templates. What I am trying to do is to make all the Personal template icons show the template contents.

I tried opening the templates as a template file and saved again as a template with the "Save Thumbnail" checked. This worked only for one template but not others.
I suspect the problem is to do with how the templates were created but I'm not sure.

If anyone can help me with this, you will have my eternal gratitude.
