Thank you for your reply. Yes I tried to use FixIt, but it will not install on Windows 10. I also tried to use the manual repair procedure, but the Notepad search could not find oMath. I also was not able to install Office 2013 64 Bit SP1, since it is not supported on Windows 10. Could it be that my original file was too big (97 MB) for Word to handle? I plan to lower the resolution of the pictures in the file. My only recourse seems to be to recreate the file. Don Flinn
