Aha! I think I've figured it out based on your last post, I did change the set next paragraph to be Heading 1 which is exactly what I wanted.. I think.

I've come to realise multi-level lists can be very useful for drafting legal agreements, now I need to learn how to use cross-referencing.. another day I think
