Good day everyone!
My question is simple, but, I've scoured YouTube pages for an answer to no avail. In a typical document, the header and footer, remain constant, on every page. I would like to do the same, with two vertical bars, one on each side of the page,,and i'd like it to be permanent, so that when i type ,,page after page, will automatically have the vertical bars inserted. Can this be done?? Thank you. |

Yes, those bars can be part of the header or footer. Set text wrapping for them to be "behind text."
For examples see the Letterhead Textboxes and Styles Tutorial on my downloads page. That is textboxes rather than lines and has text wrap around them so they simulate a margin. However, the principle is the same, graphic elements on the side of a header with text on the page next to it. |

Note that a document may have multiple headers / footers depending on your choices and the bars would have to replicated in any different ones you create.
