I have a table with 100's of cells and I need to do a search for a colon ( : ) and then delete it and everything to the right of it in that cell. I can not figure out what wild card sequence to use in the advanced search and replace dialog. Can a more experienced person lend a helping hand please.
Many thanks, Houston |

You could use:
Find = :[!^13]{1,} Do note there is no way to limit this to just tables - it will match everything from a colon to the end of whatever paragraph it's in anywhere in the body of the document.
