Exclamation Looking to control what appears in the yellow box that pops up while scrolling.

Hello,

I work for a film production company, and my director is writing a script on Word. He wants to be able to easily & quickly scroll from scene to scene, but when he pulls down the scroll bar, the yellow box that pops up seems to arbitrarily correspond to different sections of the document. Is there a way we can set the box to correspond to each scene? We have tried playing around with settings and headings, to no avail. Would appreciate any advice! Thank you.

Consider using Heading styles and the Navigation Pane.
Why use Microsoft Word’s built-in heading styles? by Shauna Kelly

When you open the document with Word closed, that scroll bar will show the page number and the heading that governs the currently displayed text. I do not know of anything that changes this behavior, but that may be my ignorance.
