Consider using Heading styles and the Navigation Pane.
Why use Microsoft Word’s built-in heading styles? by Shauna Kelly When you open the document with Word closed, that scroll bar will show the page number and the heading that governs the currently displayed text. I do not know of anything that changes this behavior, but that may be my ignorance. |
