Select all the text (CTL A) and click on the file menu: Format > Asian Layout > Phonetic Guide.
The selected text will have phonetics, and there are a few options for positioning them and changing their size. If you are seeing Zhuyin phonetics and would prefer Pinyin, (or vice versa) you may need to change the formatting of the Chinese characters. Select the text, click on the file menu:Format > Reveal Formatting. In the sidebox that pops up, you can change the language settings to PRC for Pinyin or Taiwan for Zhuyin. |

Hello Maxcburger,
Thank you for your quick reply. I know how to do add phonetic guide, but i have trouble to add phonetic guide to all the text at once. ![]() For example, there is a paragraph of 506 words. I have selected all the texts, choose phonetic guide, but phonetic guide only converts 203 words at once....and...they convert by sentences, not by words. All i need to know is how to convert all 506 words at once....as I will have an essay of 1000 words...and another essay with roughly 10000 words. Thank you for your kind consideration. |
