![]() I have typed a document in Word 2003, copied and pasted from another word processor. The document is fine but in Print Preview there are many gaps between words and it bears no recognition to the original document as typed. The document prints as it is shown in the Print Preview. What can be wrong here? |

If by "another word processor" you mean an application other than Word (such as Wordperfect), the problem may be invisible control characters that Word is misinterpreting.
A possible fix, it seems to me, is to copy your text into Notepad, save it, then retrieve it and copy the text from there, and paste it into Word. You'll have to restore any formatting you want, but it should expunge any "spoilers". |

Thanks for the reply. I actually sent the document to someone by email and he reformatted it and returned it as a Word document which resolved the problem. |
