A Word documented edited by several people suddenly proved to contain a few invisible characters somewhere that proved to be a problem when the document was imported into DTP software.
I've copied the invisible characters into a new docx file which I've attached. I don't know how to find out what these characters represent, and most importantly: 1) how they might inadvertently be added to a document 2) how one could perform a check at the end of the road to ensure these characters aren't in the document. A simple search would suffice, but... I don't know how to create the characters (type them). And if I copy them, I can paste them into a Word document, but no into the search box. Any help or tips much appreciated |
