When I generate or update an Index in Word, it resets Section Page Numbering to "Continuous" when I need it to retained as "from Page 1". Page number formats in my other sections are different anyway, so there'd be no confusion.
Why does it do that, when Table of Contents leaves page numbering unchanged. How can I make it act sensibly? And, is it possible to generate an index for just one section? Surely after nearly 30 years Word should be perfect? Kenneth Spencer |
