Hi we're in a bit of a kerfuffle at the moment, we're designing our own wedding invites (Or more specifically Save the Date cards) and we seem to be a bit stuck on progress - Normally i'm fairly good with Microsoft Word, but this one has me stumped.
Firstly, i don't know how to get text to be "close" together - In a vain effort to get it how i wanted i cheated a bit, by using two images of the text i wanted and then cropped them together into one image so that i could get the text how i wanted it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vnekugeucr...pture.JPG?dl=0 However, i think because i've been forced into using an image to getting the text how i wanted it, it's just messed up the rest of the document as it's not printing right. We have two "save the dates" on one page, side-by-side in landscape, got the sizing how we wanted the whole document to be - But then when we print it off, it actually prints in the bottom left corner of the page and not centrally how we actually want it. Does anyone know how to get the text close like that together using just word and without resorting to image files? As an FYI, the font is Coneria Script if that makes a difference. |

There are two issues here
1. The font spacing - that isn't going to be possible. 2. The issue of printing. Let is start by saying that Word will only print what the printer driver will allow so as a general rule, custom page sizes are out. Use a standard paper size and make up the difference with the margins (see below) Insert the images(s) in line and set the alignment to Centred. ![]()
