I discovered the "section break" option and have copied and pasted a similar "chapter". I have a new footer that repeats for this new chapter. That is good. But the next challenge is I want to reset the page numbering in the second footer so I have Chapter 2 Page 1,2,3... Currently Chapter 2 is picking up where Chapter 1 numbering left off (Page 28,29,30...). I have multiple "chapters" to include in this master document and I want each successive chapter section to start off with Page 1. Many thanks!!! |

Click in the section where page numbering should restart and then click Insert tab | Page Number | Format Page Numbers. Select "Start at" and specify 1. Click OK.
