Spanish characters in English Word document
Word and/or Excel is inserting Spanish characters - I have set the language to English and do not see any other reason for this issue. I can only change the character to English by "inserting" the correct character.
Any ideas? Shirley

Do you have the language displayed in the Word status bar? If not show it there. Does it show the language as Spanish for these characters (every character can have its own language attribute). Click the language button in the status bar and ensure that 'detect language automatically' is not selected.
