i have a long document with a level-1 heading shown on 10 pages straight. i don't want it to show up in the TOC 10 times.
the document was created through a mail merge so it would very tedious to change all the text to a different level besides the first time it is shown.
please help

You can either change the TOC so that it does not reflect that heading level. Then mark the one you want with a TC entry.
It is tie you learned about Styles.
