![]() In Word 2013, space for headers and footers have been added to my document pages and I can't find how to remove them. I see how to add them under the "Insert" tab, but not how to totally clear them out. Never wanted them. Thanks for any help. |

By design there will always be "space" for headers and footers and you cannot remove them. If you don't need to use them simply ignore they exist.

Every page in a Word document has always had space for headers and footers. Whilst you can't get rid of them, you can minimise their size by changing the page setup margins for each section of the document.
