Default PDF Conversion method

Thanks for your response. I used Export - which is where Microsoft have placed it in Word 2013. I'm running some tests with the printer (the human) to see if Foxit PDF (which is a Word Add-in, and came bundled with 2013) behaves differently, and to see if it's the PDF conversion process itself. It's an involved process trying the various combinations - and you can only see the outcome in the final step - viewing the PDF on screen doesn't help because of course screen fonts are another dimension. Bye for now.
