I tried exporting through the UI and got to see the showInRibbon=false setting.
Initially I think I saw the gallery with no title but later it appeared with the title so I am wondering what I saw now. I am wondering if this has been fixed in the subsequent versions of Word. Have you tried the schemas for each of 2007/2010/2013?
