Thanks, that did help. I changed the hanging indent of each I, II, III one at a time until it looked o.k. Not ideal, but good enough.
Do you know of any online training or class that covers this kind of thing? Even a well linked dictionary might help. Because whoever wrote word uses terminology that is so strange I don't even know how to look for what might be the problem when I have a problem in word. For example the problem I was having above. If I search the MS-word help, I would search for: space after numbering tabs after numbering space between bullets and text But find nothing. It would NEVER occur to me to search for: hanging indent What does that even mean? What is hanging about it? I need google to be able to intelligently search the MS word help. |
