I'm inserting links to bookmarks in a very long document. Here's the problem, if I jump towards the end of the document to create a bookmark, then try to return so I can create the link, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to return to exactly where I was previously. I've been using Go to Page, that gets me in the ball park, but I have to keep track of what page I'm on and keep changing the page number. I wish there was an easier way. Anyone know of anything? Go Back is no good, it only returns from links, and probably cross-references.

You'd probably do better to split the Word window, using one pane for the body and the other for the bookmarking. It's then a simple matter of switching panes to move between the two.

Appreciate it macro. That's definitely a lot easier.
