![]() Greetings I am trying to make a multilevel list that has three levels of headings which have a numbering that restarts after the higher level and a fourth level with the "meat" of the text that has a numbering which is not affected by the other levels. I have levels 1, 2 and 3 connected to Headings 1, 2 and 3 respectively. I then have those levels starting from I), A) and a) respectively and then I have level 2 restarting after level 1 and level 3 restarting after level 2. Lastly, I have level 4 connected to Heading 4, starting from 1. and I remove the restart option. In some situations this works. In mine, however, it does not. This is the structure that I am going for: I) xxxxxxxxx 1. xxxxxxxxx A) xxxxxxxxx 2. xxxxxxxxx a) xxxxxxxxx 3. xxxxxxxxx 4. xxxxxxxxx 5. xxxxxxxxx b) xxxxxxxxx 6. xxxxxxxxx 7. xxxxxxxxx 8. xxxxxxxxx B) xxxxxxxxx 9. xxxxxxxxx a) xxxxxxxxx 10. xxxxxxxxx 11. xxxxxxxxx b) xxxxxxxxx 12. xxxxxxxxx 13. xxxxxxxxx II) xxxxxxxxx 14. xxxxxxxxx A) xxxxxxxxx 15. xxxxxxxxx etc Basically, the idea is, that after each title I have a paragraph with some text in the lowest level and then I have the title of the lower level and so on, and then after each third level title I have a couple of paragraphs in the fourth level (again - which is the "meat" of the text). So I type something, hit the Heading 1 button and get I). I then type the text in the next paragraph and hit the Heading 4 button and get 1. I then type the heading for the second level but when I hit the Heading 2 button, I get B) instead of A). This happens on all levels. The problem is the insertion of the level 4 text in between the other levels, because the multilevel system works otherwise. The end result is that I have what I want, but with everything starting with the second number instead of the first and it looks like that I) xxxxxxxxx 1. xxxxxxxxx B) xxxxxxxxx 2. xxxxxxxxx b) xxxxxxxxx 3. xxxxxxxxx 4. xxxxxxxxx 5. xxxxxxxxx c) xxxxxxxxx 6. xxxxxxxxx 7. xxxxxxxxx 8. xxxxxxxxx C) xxxxxxxxx 9. xxxxxxxxx b) xxxxxxxxx 10. xxxxxxxxx 11. xxxxxxxxx c) xxxxxxxxx 12. xxxxxxxxx 13. xxxxxxxxx II) xxxxxxxxx 14. xxxxxxxxx B) xxxxxxxxx 15. xxxxxxxxx etc. Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be? Thank you |
