Frankly autocorrect is the better option for correction or shortcuts. e.g. use a convenient symbol in front of the trigger keyset e.g. #pest for 'proprietary estoppel' so that accidental triggering is avoided.

You can use autocorrect to insert anything from a simple correction to pages of text and graphics.

Autotext also works pretty much the same as it always did. You need a unique key of at least four characters before F3 will insert the text.
