Hi-
I have a document with top level headers using Roman Capital numbering (I, II, III, IV....). I have established a List Style that passes all of the heading labels to the lower levels. The problem is that the document needs level 2 headings with Arabic numbering (1.1 then 1.2 then 1.3 etc.). My List Style makes them I.1, I.2, etc. Does anyone know a way to pass the first level numbering down to the subsequent levels BUT convert the form to Arabic from Roman? Thanks, Sig |

Edit the numbering definition. Under "Click level to modify," click on Level 2.
Place a check mark in the box that says "Legal style numbering." Click OK. |
