Hello. I am a teacher. I am trying to switch to writing my exams in word for the ease of editing over the exam software.
So, I created a new numbering/bullet format. But, I am banging my head against a wall trying to figure out how to have TWO different numbering list formats in a document. for example, I want my multiple choice sections to have my custom bullet format: ____1. text here ____2. text here (and so on) Then when my test switches to short answer / essay / problems, I want the numbering to continue, but switch to: 3. text here 4. text here 5. text here (and so on) Any idea how I can do this in Word? I've looked at section breaks, page breaks, etc, but I am stuck. Thanks in advance! |
