Default Problem With Updating Linked Excel Tables in Word 2013

I have small list of hourly rates in excel that I want to link to a word 2013 document. First it will not show me changes in real-time and I tried following various manuals on youtube but after I close the word document somehow the links break and not even updating manually works. Normally I work with files on OneDrive and I thought it was maybe a OneDrive problem but the problem was same with local files. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

This is my word doc.

This is my excel doc.
