FWIW, I prefer to use ordinary Section breaks and use a field in the last paragraph before the Section break to automatically manage the insertion/deletion of the blank page.
A field coded as: {IF{=MOD({PAGE},2)}= 1 {QUOTE 12}} or: {IF{=MOD({PAGE},2)}= 1 "{QUOTE 12}¶ This page intentionally left blank¶ "} respectively, will automatically insert a blank page if the page on which they occur is an odd-numbered one. To get the same effect for an even-numbered page, change the '1' to '0'. Note: The field brace pairs (i.e. '{ }') for the above example are all created in the document itself, via Ctrl-F9 (Cmd-F9 on a Mac); you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message. Nor is it practicable to add them via any of the standard Word dialogues. The spaces represented in the field construction are all required. Instead of the ¶, you should use a real line/paragraph break.
