I am struggling with calculating time for our truck drivers. I need a formula that will let me get their total hours and then cut ½ hours for lunch. Try as I might I can’t get anywhere with this. My biggest problem is the small pieces of time they work. They start at 9:45 and finish at 3:15...I’m lost can you help!

Try this: formate column "A" to a military time format. Then place the following values or fomulas in the noted cells:
A1: 00:30 this is the lunch you want to subtract out A2: 08:00 this is start of the day A3: 17:00 this is the end of the day A4: =sum((A3-A2)-A1) |
