This is handled in the page number formatting. In section 5(probably), your page number formatting is set to restart at 1. This did not just happen. Someone did this.

You need to change this, not to restarting at 7, but as continuing from previous section.

That wasn't the case Charles, section 4 was page 6, and section 5 was page 2. Setting the footer in section 5 to 'continuous' gave me the page 2. There was no place after the original page 1 (in section 2) that showed another page 2.

GOOD NEWS... I managed to fix it by deleting all of the footers, and then making sure I was in section 5 and inserting the page number and rest of the footer, and then copying the footer from section 5 back to section 2.

Somewhere between section 4 and section 5 there was something set that I could not get back to.

PS: I've used Word since the version 1.0. (Anyone wanna buy a set of original Windows Presentation Manager diskettes? LOL) I am really disappointed with Word 2013. There are numerous bugs.
