![]() I created a mail merge document to print a set of flashcards using the Edit Individual Documents option so that the merged records go into a single document. I ended up with a document containing 50-60 pages, with the text for each card on a page. I want to put the card number in the footer. I thought I could use the page number field, but when the merge completed, each page was number 1. I then noticed that mail merge made each page a new section and apparently set it to restart numbering in each section. Is it possible to tell mail merge to number all of the pages continuously? Next, I tried to put a sequence number in the footer, but apparently they are not allowed in footers. What's that about? Any other solutions or work-arounds? |

Hi Jennifer,
Instead of putting a Page# field in the footer, insert a MERGESEQ field.
