Hello everybody. I am struggling with what seemed very easy for me but turned out to be really hard in word 2007. My task is best described on an example:
1. Heading 1.1 Heading 2 1.1 equation 1.2 equation 1.2 Heading 2 2. Heading 2.1 equation 2.1 Heading 2 Now this is "hard coded" and I am trying to achive it by multilevel lists. However, it absolutely fails to work. What i have done is shown on folowing two pictures: For headings: http://postimg.org/image/c8t65hgvr/ For equations: http://postimg.org/image/av1ja6hmf/ Setting equation list first level to be based on heading 1 erases this binding in first picture and this is basically the problem. Any help much appreciated Peter |

First, multilevel list numbering is best handled following the procedures set forth at How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in Ribbon Versions of Word by Shauna Kelly
Second, for clarification. You want to have an equation with the same number as the heading preceding it? Or, are these independent. |

Hi, thanks for your repply, however, I wasn't able to get it working this way therefore I had to hard code it. There were constant problems with it and in the end I realized it wasn't worth it.
Thanks anyway Peter |
