I want to create a running list of 7 letter words keeping the words in their original order and automatically create a second list with all words in alphabetical order. Help much appreciated. Thanking you in anticipation.

List sorting isn't something Word will do automatically. However, you can sort lists in Word. The simplest way is to add them to a table - one row per word - then use Word's table tools to sort the table.
