How do I remove a white empty area in word 2010

hi can you tell me how to remove this white empty area? I cannot simply delete it because it starts deleting characters off the last word thaks Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 12-29-2013 at 06:31 AM.

Try turning on display of non-printing formatting characters. Ctrl+Shift+8 (Ctrl+*).
