I've been having some trouble putting in my footer. It keeps putting it in for all the sections and I only need all but the first section, that being the title page. Is there a way to put it in for every section but the first, and if so can anybody help me find the instructions for that? I have MS Office Professional 2010 and Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
Any help would be incredibly helpful. Thanks a lot Sincerely Katherine Logan AKA "Maghdalena" |

If you don't mind a You Tube video (with an annoying voice), this link could help you:

Was your Title Page inserted as a Cover Page using that function on the Insert tab? If so, it is not a separate section.
Assuming it is a separate section, got to your Section 2 footer and change the Link to Previous setting on the Header and Footer Tools ribbon so it is not linked. Then go to page 1 and delete the footer. Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2013 If you did use the Cover Page write back and we'll work on that. |
