I am trying to create a document that is to have a different header on the first page than the following pages. The following pages will not have a header at all.
I go through the steps to delete the header from the second page. Everything looks fine until I actually start doing work on the second page. When my curser jumps to the second page not only does the header that I deleted re-appear, but a 3rd blank page appears as well. What am I doing wrong here? |

You should define your document page layout as having a 'different first page' before adding the header. Unless you also want 'different odd and even' pages, don't use that page layout option.
