![]() How can I return to being able to select single characters or words in MS Word? When I try to select a character, Word automatically highlights multiple words. ![]() |

In 2010, this would probably be in the Options tab – there's a checkbox for "When selecting, automatically select entire word." Don't know where to find the same setting in 2007, but hope this points you in the right direction.
