When I bought this computer, it had Office 2010 Starter already installed. I have downloaded several documents from the net. Now, it wants me to purchase Office 2013 to view them (14 months later), which I cannot afford.
I have installed my old version of Office 2003, and downloaded all the updates available.



I still cannot view my word documents. Can anyone help? or do I have to find all of those documents again...and download them again using Office 2003?

Most likely, the problem has been caused by the recent set of updates released from Microsoft. Try repairing Office Starter (see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...089.aspx?CTT=1) and it should work fine again.
