I have recently expeienced unstable viewing pages in multi-page documens in Word. The page jumps without warning. I can catch it by placing the cursor, but untl I do that it is unsable, and my place is lost. Is this a signal that something is wrong with the operating system? I've done a complete diagnostic on the computer and it checks out.
Any explanation? Cure? Thanks, Peter |

It may indeed be that the document has some corruption. Corrupt documents can often be 'repaired' by inserting a new, empty, paragraph at the very end, copying everything except that new paragraph to a new document, closing the old document and saving the new one over it.
