I followed your instructions, but when I got to the part "place the insertion point in there"; I was unclear as to what or where the insertion point was.
With no formal training just trial & error, I find Word quite formidable. First off may I apologize for not being clearer on my post. I did in fact download the entire Bible which was formated as show in the Word document attached. I did a copy and paste of the book of Genesis into a Word document using Tahoma as my font instead of 'Times New Roman'. I find this easier to read when onscreen in P.P. |

The insertion point is simply the blinking cursor. It's what you see if you just click in text (making sure not to select/highlight anything).
Your example files include pasted pictures, which doesn't tell me anything. But if you can select one number at a time, most likely they are typed in. Have you tried Find and Replace? Just in case, you can work with a copy of the document, to avoid unexpected results in your original file.
