I followed your instructions, but when I got to the part "place the insertion point in there"; I was unclear as to what or where the insertion point was.
With no formal training just trial & error, I find Word quite formidable.



First off may I apologize for not being clearer on my post. I did in fact download the entire Bible which was formated as show in the Word document attached. I did a copy and paste of the book of Genesis into a Word document using Tahoma as my font instead of 'Times New Roman'. I find this easier to read when onscreen in P.P.

The insertion point is simply the blinking cursor. It's what you see if you just click in text (making sure not to select/highlight anything).

Your example files include pasted pictures, which doesn't tell me anything. But if you can select one number at a time, most likely they are typed in.

Have you tried Find and Replace? Just in case, you can work with a copy of the document, to avoid unexpected results in your original file.
