I have tried using the page layout menu to change the Word10 default page size to letter size 8.5x11 but after going through the page layout tab and setting the default to 8.5x11 size the page size still remains at a default 7.5x10 AND remains so when I re-open Word 10 a new page.

The ruler on the top and left only goes to a maximum of 7.5x10
Any help in solving this frustrating problem appreciated!
