I'm writing a ton of paperwork right now in my company and it has been going fairly smooth. I have 3 different headings I use to keep track of numbering and I make tables to group images and words together.

I ran into an issue just now, though, and I can't figure it out. I have a table with 3 cells (1 row 3 columns) taking up the entire width of the page. Text in one cell followed by an image in each of the other cells. Underneath I add an empty line and then I make another table with 3 more cells taking up the entire width of the page. I do this all the time. At least a hundred times now.

The text is always formatted to one of my headings that I use. However, this time the 2nd table jumps to a new page when I use my heading style. It doesn't change in size, so that's not the problem. Hell, I can use a different heading style (one of the presets, not numbered) with a bigger font and it still stays put. But the moment I use my heading style, it jumps to the next page.

What's more, several of my tables seem wonky. Usually when I select a table and right-click, I see an option for "auto-fit". These don't have it. I have tried re-making the table entirely but it doesn't help. I have no idea what to do from here.

EDIT: I think I figured it out. I turned on paragraph marks to show where line breaks and the like are. In addition to paragraph symbols I found these black squares. Deleting the black squares basically "separated" the tables into their own stand-alone units so they positioned easier.
